In this episode of the Playful Connection Podcast, Eddie Shin will share four  simple and practical tips that you can apply today to help your child or teen to feel grateful to be in your family.

1. Create Meaningful Family Traditions
2. Express Gratitude for Each Other
3. Encourage Contribution to the Family
4. Share Family Stories and History

Helping children and teens feel grateful to be in their family is like tending to a garden. At first, gratitude might seem small—like seeds planted in the soil—but with consistent care, warmth, and nurturing, those seeds grow into strong, vibrant plants. Some days, the garden might feel neglected, and weeds may appear, but with effort and attention, it thrives again. When children and teens feel valued, connected, and appreciated within their family, gratitude grows naturally, deepening their roots and strengthening the love that holds the family together.
